John Bruce has done freelance writing on and off for most of his life. In the past, it's apppeared in print at COMPUTERWORLD, Philological Quarterly, The Los Angeles Reader, The Dartmouth Review, and others. More recently, it's appeared, or will appear, on the web in Horror Sleaze Trash, Sudden Flash, 100subtexts, Twist & Twain, serious-lit press, Fiction on the Web, Cantaraville, Bartleby Snopes, Eunoia Review, Fiction at Work, The Journal of Truth and Consequence, Long Story Short, Lowestoft Chronicle, Underground Voices, and elsewhere. He had a Pushcart nomination in 2008, but he can't remember where, and it doesn't matter, since there have been thousands of those. He has degrees in English from Dartmouth College and the University of Southern California and lives in Los Angeles. His stories can currently be found at the links below.
